Yes it does come with a new flywheel.

You may have already read Randy's report and he said it quite well, our
support is a very simple and very effective support that is very simular to
the original WBX support. There is a picture of it at

We installed a 1985 Jetta Carat engine (102hp) in our 84 Westie. I am very
happy with the performance obtained from this engine. Keeping a constant
120km/h is not a problem with this engine. The complete kit that we sell
work work on ALL I4 engines from the 1.5L (not recommended) to the 2.0L -
even the Audi 1.8L Turbo! So, no, you would not have to replace anything
(except for the use once flywheel bolts) when upgrading engines.

Shipping to the USA is not a problem. The crossmember is too big to ship
via Canada Post so I ship the kit via UPS "3-day select" service which
includes brokerage fees. The complete kit is made in Canada and the USA
with the exception of the German made oil pan and rubber motor mounts. So
far, no one has had to pay duty when importing the kit as it mostly falls
under NAFTA. If someone wants to be stickey you may have to pay 3.9% duty
on the German made parts - that amount to aprox $100 CAD of the kit. The
kit mounts the engine at a 15 degree angle.
If you have any other questions, please let me know!
