Bill,
Is this the same info you posted last year? If so, it was very helpful to
me. I used your research to aid me in adding a Fridgemate fan last year as
a second fan behind our refrigerator. Our main objective was to make
things quieter at night, the original fan was too loud and ran too long at
night to make sleeping enjoyable. My original intention was to add two new
Fridgemate fans, one to replace the stock fan and a second fan like yours
near the upper coil. After removing the refrigerator I found the original
fan mounting bracket was lose, explaining the excessive noise. I just
tightened the fasteners on the original fan and easily installed the second
fan as you described. I wired the two fans in series, how did you wire
yours? I assume your third fan with a switch was wired in parallel, but
what about the other two fans behind the refrigerator?
It's been over a year now and its is working great, it is much quieter, the
fans run less, and the refrigerator is colder.
