Subject: Im back with a 1984 Wolfsburg
Content-type: text/plain
Hello fellow listies=)
I have recently bought a 1984 wolfsburg vanagon. It is the blue wolfy
color. Nice courdoroy interior with the weekender package. The bus has
65k on the rebuild and 221k on the body. All parts that have been
replaced were replaced with Bosch parts and it was owned by a mechanic
so it runs awsome=) The body has some surface rust but I am going to be
fixing that soon. It was good enough to pass through CT PITA inspection
system=) All the clutch stuff was redone with the engine and all the
brakes were done a short while ago. I bought the van for 1000
bucks...great deal if you ask me=) Things it needs is the front heater
motor to work...very expensive!!! 380.00 bucks but I'm going to look
into the problem and see if its actually the motor. The van kicks out
heat thou..I've never been in a vanagon that has this much heat! Well
thats my update as of now....nice to be back on the list=)
