I second Tobin's recommendations... and yes, Tobin did talk me into
it. The Thetford fits nicely between the front seats in the 80+
Vanagon's behind the parking brake. My wife just made a couple
webbing straps so secure it in place while driving. The unit is
approx. 12X14 and 12 high. My wife also made a cover for it complete
with map pockets. It works well in our van.
