I am unsure.  Usually, I like Veterans Park in Monterey.  It is cheap, it is wonderful.  Still undecided.  No Ben T, No me.  I am still trying to figure out Oil Leak.  Subaru 2.2.  I messed up with Small Car Oil Pan Drain pan.  It is simple, just follow their directions.  I was in a hurry.  I did not follow their directions, oil spray on back of Vanagon.  Bought new Oil Pan/Dipstick gizmo from Van Cafe.  Should arrive in a few days, and then problems are over.  Not there yet. [cue music "Santa Claus is Coming to Town]. First the facts: It's scheduled for Sunday, February 8 at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, our traditional venue, chosen in error because I [Mike, one of the founders of said celebration] told BenT [the other founder] that Ocean Beach was where Burning Man (tm) had started. It wasn't, Burning Man started at Ocean Beach. Oh, well. This mistake has set the tone for every celebration since. We stick strictly to the plan and nothing is planned. The times are; starts when you show up, and ends when you leave. This will be Enforced this year without mercy. Now to start on the rumors. As usual Big people are coming. Like Ryan Crouser at 6' 7" and 330 lbs is the record holder for the men's shotput. Olivier Rioux, at 7' 9" the tallest guy ever in college basketball. And more in that vein. The usual singing will take place with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir leading the way. Cirque du Soliel, Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey, and my cousin Tom who can juggle 3 balls pretty well. As usual there will be a fireworks display - there actually was one the first or second year, very cool - highlighted by a Saturn V launch. Mahler's Symphony #8, the symphony of a thousand, will be the half time entertainment. Along with the usual kazoo extravaganze The usual food and drink will be provided. Which means that people bring what they want to and many share, which is neato. Decorations abound.  BenT will show up (I hope)...late. And a splendid time is guaranteed for all. Please forward this to any other lists besides the vanagon mailing list, syncro list and diesel-vanagon as being a tech non nerd I am unable to do that
