The OEM jack worked well for me the few times I used it, also. I was pretty leery of it, given how it fits to the vehicle, and that when first engaged it is tilted out of vertical. But it actually seemed solid as it lifted the vehicle. Ideally one would place jack stands once the van was raised, but who carries jack stands when travelling? I'm not getting under a vehicle on a jack, at any rate, regardless of what kind of jack.
