 I will say this:  that aluminum bracket Karl, the one that you invented, the one to effortlessly provide a means to engage a Bosch Starter motor to a Vanagon with 100% function each and every time in all conditions...that was because of YOU!!  Have one on my Vanagon, thank you.  And believe it or not, the word has spread about its greatness.  Yes, it has been promoted on Vanagon Cafe; it has been promoted on Vanagon Owners Group too.  You have thousands of fans; and I hope tens of thousands of dollars too came your way.  Sure....people will be people....but all the pictures and stuff is super encouraging.  Gives lots of ideas and solutions.  I still say its a good thing.  I guess I am kind of simple minded....but I like it.  And no....I am too simple minded to understand things like ACE's....I guess it must mean something.  But I sure do like the pictures, the videos too!  Fun for me.  Of course, it doesn't work for all, never will.

'help', IMO. Too many 'ACEs', a lot of know-it-alls and bad attitudes,
attacks, harassment, laughing at comments made by the oldsters who have
decades of experience. I left it - and almost every other Vanagon discussion /
help group a few weeks ago. I've grown too weary of trying to help people who
already think they know more or have bad attitudes. If it weren't for the
friends and family connection aspect of FB I'd leave the whole circus behind.
