Hijacking the thread, albeit related.
When I picked up my ‘88 a few years back I quickly noticed the PO had left out an important detail regarding the included Fiamma awning, and that’s that it had damaged the rain gutter, in one case causing enough rust damage to see light through.
Been looking at other awning options, but since the brackets would logically mount in the same places, what’s the best solution (quality, but light enough as to cause the least amount of gravity stress on the gutter)?
Ultimately I’d prefer to just weld in new sections of gutter, but that’s not an option at the moment.
