I've had these mirrors for 2+ years now, and absolutely love them!!
They fit perfect, no new holes and never lose the adjustment.
Here is a photo of my 84 with the mirrors installed.

I've tried hard to avoid drilling any new holes in the van, and so far even with awning installed, I could remove everything to look OEM if necessary.
Although, I didn't replace that crazy pin-stripe when after re-painting!
