Lots of climbing in low gear at around 3000 rpm and higher so oil temp was
around 235 at one point - it is an analog gauge so it is tough to really
know - but I was a bit concerned getting above 220. Rad fan never hit high
speed but was definitely cycling at its lower speed. Oil pressure at idle
stayed at 20 psi and I can’t recall looking at it much when driving at
higher rpms - as there was lots to watch and stay focused on. I think I
was at 39 psi for the top of my pressure range.
The coolness of the air temperature didn’t seem to keep the oil from still
getting pretty hot. I noticed the lower readings of just under 220 on the
open highway as I cruised home.
