Yes!
This is a repeat occurrence for him and if I recall the other time was also after a traveling engine stall and subsequent restart. You don’t normally use the brakes while starting parked, but a restart after a surprise stall out will often have the brake pedal involved.

Dennis, you are talking about one of those add-on starter relays right?
They didn't come stock with one, so this possibility would only be if you have factory cruise and an aftermarket hot start relay?
