I missed you having a Syncro part. This size will work. If you don't have already consider a big brake kit. If you are a high speed driver give though to what that extra load will do to the transmission. Next rebuild get the oiling plates and maybe jump to a heavier gear oil.

I have Schwenk lift springs on mine with Old Man Emu shocks. It should be fine.

>> The 225/60-16 is amongst my favorite size for the 2WD vans. For even better handling the 225/55-17 is also a winner. These sizes are only about an inch larger in diameter than stock at ~26.6 inches. For 16 wheels the smallest Kumho is about 29 inches. Just too much.

>>> What size are you looking to use and what is the intended use? An "All Terrain" tire will not be as good on wet roads (too much void ratio) and while they look aggressive they are not as good as a real winter tire on snow and ice, especially light snow or ice covered roads. They can usually push through deep fluffy snow but once going nothing like a winter capable tire to help you stop and steer. Also keep in mind the effect taller tires have on gearing and braking if you have to original engine. The increased torque loading really helps to reduce transmission life if you like to drive fast.
