I may be wrong, but I think the 1.9 NA diesel did come standard in European T3s, where they sold the diesel T3 later than in North America. Can someone confirm this? European T3 diesels until '91-'92 with the 1.9L NA? Would the 1.9L NA diesel in the North American Jetta and Passat be the same engine as in the later model T3 in Europe? Ant

Diesel: 48hp, 97 ft-lbs Air cooled: 67hp, 101 ft-lbs 1.9 WBX: 82hp, 105 ft-lbs 2.1 WBX: 90hp, 117 ft-lbs

All are dangerously underpowered for modern driving situations, but the diesel is in a class by itself.
