Oh, we get black ice. We may get more freezing rain than further north, because the upper atmosphere where the ppt. forms is more likely to be warm, while we are cold at ground level. But we get refreezing of slush and snow, too.
But I am not usually going camping under such conditions, and I use my camper mainly for that. I do some winter camping, but mostly when the weather is dry.
