Cut the old speaker carefully out of the old grille mounts.
Trim off the mounting ears on the new speakers. Cut ring-shaped shims to put the
speaker about 1/8" to 3/16" deeper into the stock grille mounts. Use a silicon
type adhesive, or choose something similar to keep the pieces inside the old
hole.
Screw the whole assembly back in, and reconnect the leads.
