Should be fun next time you need tires and want to get the wheels balanced.
All the balancing machines use the inside bore and a taper cone to center
and locate the wheel. Oh speaking of that, the Audi and Mercedes wheels are
known as hub-centric. The wheel is a tight fit around the hubs and that is
how those wheels are centered and the rotating forces controlled. The lugs
just hold them laterally. Now you are asking the wheels to perform a job for
which they may not be designed for. When you buy wheels for these vehicles
center bore is part of the specs and when needed center bushings are
supplied to keep the fit hub centric.
BTW I will soon be replacing the wheels and tires on my wife's A8. 16's.
Tired of the wobbles. But if someone wants to get these on their van let me
know.

Hi
I just recently took a set of rims to do the same and they charge
about 15-25.00 per wheel. Issue is I had 2 bent so I didn't get it
done and need to get 2 more wheels. BUT, If you contact the list they
may have a spare dead disc and bearing cap. Just take those 2 things
in and your good to go. I would recommend doing all 4 since you will
want to rotate tires and stuff.
I also just bored out one of the dead rims for fun with a Large Rigid
Hole saw. Do not remember the size but it ate up some aluminum quick.
Then you can clean it up with a home depot style grinder.
I am putting my set of a 71 Sunroof Bus.
Good Luck
