glad to hear your age has not found you out yet ...
there are those who are younger who find them selves transitioning into the
other reality with no thought or discussion ...
get off my lawn may well be an appropriate response to someone who drove by
and stopped in to go through your stuff ...
to old friends who are keenly aware of the 700+ plus second chances we have
both had ...
well as we are looking wistfully over the collected goods of ones life while
discussing the scene from the movie Zorba the Greek ...
you know the one where the woman dies after she has been read the letter she
waited all her life to hear ...
the towns folk pillage her house ... with less jollies than recounted in the
same scene in the christmas carol ..
any way to survey the piles of what one was with an eye cast to who will and
what will ... is just good coffee conversation ...
collectively we both have another friend who is also 64 ...
he never brings it up and it is unlikely there would be much of a
conversation with him on that same subject ...
alas myself at only 50 /// almost ... well wiper snapper indeed ...
i dont even have a proper will done ...
nothing morbid .. just some strait forward stuff ..
that should likely be discussed on a friday
