The sealed mixture screw on the AFM ONLY affects the mixture at idle - has
negligible or no effect at speed.

|The only thing in the fuel system that comes to mind that would be "drilled
|out" is the factory seal on the air/fuel mixture screw on the AFM. That's
|what you would do in order to remove the seal so you could make adjustments
|to the air/fuel mixture. That's consistent with my thought that this
|*isn't* a vapor lock situation, it's a "too rich" situation caused by a
|weakened AFM air vane spring. Adjusting the air/fuel mixture shouldn't
|play
|into a vapor lock situation.
