Hey Scott,
Thanks for all of your input. So I know that I should not assume that the
Vanagon on the signature block had anything to do with the question I was
asking. But since I did not actually spell it out here it goes.
I was asking the pitch and thread of a gear shifter knob for a 1985 VW
vanagon with a 4 speed, 1.9ltr, 7 pass type. I use manh filters and whatever
oil is on sale as long it is the right weight. I have a cat name Jesus and a
dog name frosty. I also have a tendency to name my cars. Im a pretty good
natured person. Would that be enough information?
So I guess all in all, sorry that I inconvenienced you asking the question.

I am glad that I have been in this list for long enough to know that some
people get ruffled about these issues, but if I was a new lad here your
writing would have put me off.
