Rowan, I'm sorry for the health troubles you and your wife have had. I also appreciate the lengths you've gone to to remain connected with nature. Keep it up, and help us to inspire another generation. For those of us not so handicapped, we can learn to deal with, and enjoy the variety of weather that nature brings our way. Now, last week, in my favorite National Park of all, Big Bend National Park, it was 114 F. But, that was in the lowlands, while the Basin was at 82 F. So, had I been able to go to BBNP last week, where would I have been? But I would have pointed out to others the heat warnings advising people that outdoor activities in the excessive heat the park was experiencing were not safe, and staying away was the best option (lol) ;-) .
