That's what's so weird - other than slight stumble on acceleration
from low revs, it starts and runs completely normally, except for the
MPG issue.

I will check the cat and muffler when it gets back to me - good idea.
I all ready checked compression, which is fairly even across all
cylinders, unchanged from when I acquired the van, and within normal
range; about 135 is my recollection.
I am actively looking for a fuel leak under pressure, and it's not as
if checking or replacing some of my hoses would hurt anything!

List wisdom, could it be an injector or AFM issue? Keep in mind it
starts/idles/runs just as well (or badly?) as it ever has.
