I would not do it in a week, but different strokes for different
folks. I did drive 1000 miles for three days of camping in the Ruins
and would do it again in a heartbeat.
It looks like you will miss St Andrews, St Stevens and Calais Maine.
Those are the parts I know much about in that area.
Bring a turkey cooker with propane and the pot that goes with it. If
you like lobsta. What a treat, the freshest lobsta cooked at your
campsite...
Deer Island is the home of some famous bed and breakfast where Greta
Garbo stayed. The ferry ride is quite nice and scenic.
