I gotta get me some of that Seafoam , I've never tried it.
and...........what worked on some squeaky upper inner a-arm bushings for
me.....
I've sprayed those things like crazy with silicone spray, WD-40 etc and it
doesnt' seem to help.
I was on this trip in a westy of mine that always sqeaked a lot on bumps,
and we drove in rain a lot on that trip, and my friend mentioned that the
squeaking had stopped after we drove in rain a while.
I am NOT recommending this ! ...but...........after that trip, and maybe a
tiny bit of squeaking returned, I lubed those upper inner bushing with a
pump spray bottle filled with water and liquid dish soap !
and it worked, nicely. And the bushings are OK too........no play or
anything ........just used.
I also find that if a van has been dead a long time, once running again it
takes a while of driving for the front inner bushings to stop squeaking.
Scott
