Michael,
I would not automatically assume that the problem is on the server
(list) end. I have seen plenty of situations where dbl msgs are
generated on the user end as a result of the mailer involved or some
glitch with the receiving MTA.
To investigate on your end you could expand the headers of your mail (of
two duplicates) and see if they have unique timestamps as well as msg id
numbers. Meaning if the maillist's MTA is delivering two separate msgs
to you it would be evident in the msgs.
On the other hand it is possible that you are subscribed to the list
twice ? Most listserve software is smart enough to recognize two
identical addresses and not deliver twice
When I send to the list i do get my own post as this is apparently the
default setting.
And note you **should get this msg twice as i am sending it to your
gmail address directly AND to the list as well...
