David,
When I did mine what I did was ran the wire from the unit, under the
cluster pod, ran it up the windshield window bow. Tucked it under the seal
then ran it under the head liner and then popped the antenna end out and zip
tied it on the rear view mirror. You can't really see and wires and I have
never had issue with signal. At all.
