Carbon is being considered a pollutant because we are at the end of
an interglacial period, the earth cycles are changing, there are a
lot of people and money can be made from that belief. Lot's of money.
We don't KNOW what causes ice ages & we don't KNOW what is 'normal',
hell we don't KNOW what caused oil, we don't KNOW what is happening
with the earth. We do have lot's and lot's of guesses.
Things are changing, there is money to be made and positions to be
gained during this changing time. If the climate goes to a cycle that
will not support this much life having money and power will give you
& your family a better chance to live thru it.
I will agree the ethanol is a scam, just a way to stick it to the
poor by taking basic food and turning it into fuel and putting a
bucket of cash in someone's pocket.
The key to all this is that there is a great deal that we don't know.
Say what you want but we just don't know.
Pollution is bad, clean is better but life does go on. We all do what
we can. Is a Vanagon bad? No, life does go on and the VW van is
really a unique way of getting thru life.
