Since your auxillary battery is under the rear seat, I would make the
parrellel connection to the main battery at the starter post. This will then
serve as both the charge line and the "boost" line from the 1315. I would
then upgrade the wiring from the alternator with a #6 to the starter post.
This will provide excellent charging performance from the alternator. A
separate ground from the alternator to the body will also help. Then another
line from the main battery to the fuse box will help to get brighter lights
and faster fans and wipers.
