The Tiico ENGINE is very reliable. It's the REST of the install that
has it's issues....
When I got mine, they had a jury rigged fuel rail instead of using
one from a Jetta. The original fuel railed they supplied leaked, and
I replaced it with the plastic style which works nicely.
In my Tiico the alternator bracket is, again, hand made instead of
using the OEM VW one.
WIth that said, my Tiico is a pretty reliable beast. The issues I
have with that Vanagon aren't related to the Tiico.
