I rebuilt my whole harness a few mths back
so ...
when you do get a new to you harness dont put that crappy plastic sheild
back
get this
http://cableorganizer.com/convoshield/
or
http://www.tessco.com/products/displayProducts.do?groupId=619&subgroupId=30
That Bentley-Harris ConvoShield will give you the best protection
& dont just replace the shield on the one spot above the exhaust
replace it all especially on the runs to the FI's dont leave any wire
exposed like the std harness
take the split loom conduit right upto the rubber boots on the fi's the 2 on
left above the exhaust you will probably find
the wires on those fi's are brittle so I would replace all the fi connectors
with these
