Their running the generator during the day to charge up the batteries so
everyone can sleep at night. A number if the larger RVs are becoming "All
Electric". Even electric stoves and residential style refrigerators. This is
in part due to all the restrictions and safety concerns with propane. These
rely heavily on large battery banks and inverters and batteries need time to
charge. As one of those folks with a large RV, if our generator is bothering
you, approach us and let us know. We can usually work it out. Usually, when
dry camping such as Nascar events etc, the non generator neighbors will ask
for power for lights or TV and that can make some very happy. I also use one
of those exhaust extenders to get the noise and fumes up and over the roof
line.
