Hi Volks,
A big thanks to Dennis, Jeff and Jim for their helpful responses.
Yes, Jim, it is a 1.9.
I have booked the van in for an appointment with "Nick's Auto
Clinic" in east Toronto after I spoke with Karl there.
I've been dealing with that shop for about 25 years whenever I'm too
busy or in over my head; in this case they're getting the business
mainly because I don't have a warm dry place to do the work myself.
They've given a reasonable estimate that's in line with the list's
advice and I know they can be trusted to do the job right.
