Neil,
Nah, I wasn't mislead... that's about what I expected to see. I haven't
used a pressure bleeder like this one... the gotcha with these is that it
needs to come with a cap that will fit tightly onto the Vanagon master
cylinder so you can put pressure behind the fluid.
I went with a vacuum bleeder because it was cheaper, smaller (I'm stingy
about my limited sotrage space!), and only needed a rubber cap about the
right size to fit over a bleeder screw... if you read the first review on
the Amazon page you provided, you'll see that cap fit was a problem for
that reviewer. It's a bigger problem for us Vanagon owners with our master
cylinder *inside* above our treasured OEM carpets. ;-)
