This is probably not a list issue, it's more likely to be a connection
issue between your home machine and your mail server. This is a common side
effect of losing connectivity while you are fetching your mail from your
POP server.

The normal transaction is for the server to delete your mail after you've
fetched it all, but if the connection drops, a well-written POP server will
skip the delete step, in case some of your mail didn't reach you due to the
interrupted transfer.

When your mail package checks again, you'll get some duplicate messages...
this is annoying, but duplicate messages are better than lost mail.
