Oh, perfect, we can start from BusFusion! And hey, if Frank and Ben don't
intend to come, why we'll just tie their buses onto the caravan and bring
'em. Gord and Margaret and Greg Potts, too.
Though we'll have to take a slow route through Quebec, or it will still be
snowing by the time we get to Labrador...
Re who else has expressed interest - just track the list. I don't think
anyone has responded only in p-mail. So you know as much as I do. And ten
months away, expressions of interest are certainly not commitments! On my
part, either, for that matter - sometimes that irksome thing called work
rears its ugly head and I can't convince them to change their schedule. But
maybe we can pull it off!

:::I just did a google search and found this:
:::http://tlhwy.com/central/index.html
:::
:::It's 1130 kms one day from Baie Comeau to Goose Bay, so probably less
:::than 3
:::weeks. But from Goose Bay it's the ferry to Cartwright, and I don't know
:::how long the road is from Cartwright to Red Bay. From Red Bay it's only
:::around 60 miles (paved) to Blanc Sablon and the ferry to Newfoundland.
:::
:::Of course there's also the option of taking the coast boat from Goose Bay
:::up
:::to the outports to the north, as far as Nain. That's not a car ferry,
:::and
:::it's a few days to Nain. But I discovered that I get seasick, I might
:::not
:::really want to spend that long on a ferry!

::::::Yes, I checked with Derek Drew on how long that trip would take (he
::::::did it before the road to Goose Bay/Happy Valley was completed). This
::::::would likely take 3 weeks to do with a non-forced pace.
::::::
::::::BTW, The province has committed to building the road between

::::::
::::::I will definitely be interested in such a trip...
