Geez, I thought Splittie Bus Owners were tightwads <grin>. Now we want
separate lenses?
The Lens and Reflector are only available as a single assembled piece by
Hella. They were never offered as separate pieces for a few reasons.
Assembly production cost is one. Another is in some instances of E-Code
Lights for various vehicles, the Reflector is differently polished than
those used with SAE Beam Lenses, probably due to what instensity is approved
for that market intended. I've compared the polish on E-Codes and SAE units
and there are differences - which is probably why the SAE units suck to
begin with. It's like frosting a turd.
