I've seen the overvaluing here as well, tho not so much the 'for sale/not
for sale' game. I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the overall
cost of living, real estate etc. being fairly high compared to some other
places- sort of a halo effect. I also wonder that Ebay and the other online
sales/auction sites haven't just driven up the market for used goods in
general.
But yeah, there are people around here that seem to think their 200k civic
is worth its weight in gold just because it doesn't have rust in it.
