The Vans are not an issue for my wife who grew up as the daughter of a
German immigrant to Canada. Their family had several Beetles and her
carpenter Dad had a couple of single cabs as work trucks, one split, one
bay, so the brainwashing occurred long ago! This means that Vanagons are
pleasantly familiar, while having modern amenities like heat and brakes.
