I've found that in serious rain the poptop can leak a lot. A while back I
was in a major thunderstorm with heavy rain for quite a while and the poptop
up. Aside from the rivulets that come in at the edges of the screen (with
the canvas flap up, of course), I suddenly had water pouring out from behind
the dome light while I was sitting in the back seat working onto my
computer. Unfortunately, it poured directly onto the keyboard of my laptop,
which was on my rear table, which was not swung out. This was NOT good for
my laptop, which died a slow nasty death by drowning and had to be replaced.
Sigh. It had had some keyboard problems before, so the water may have been
(figuratively) just the straw that broke the camel's back. And I might have
some things not sealed well enough where the canvas attaches, which would be
why the water came in - not sure about that. And it was a huge downpour.
But it definitely can happen!
Joy
