That wasn't my experience with the three fiats in my life, one of which
I owned from almost new. Peeling chrome, flaking paint, deteriorating
rubber, hard starting, windows falling out and on and on. The only
worse car I've owned was a Jaguar, so bad you literally could not give
me a new one (I'd make you sell it first and give me the money).
There are some junk cars in this world, but the vanagon doesn't rate
mention with them.
