That has been my experience as well. I replaced my original windshield
in yer 2000, making it 12 years old at the time. The new windshield -
American product - now almost 5 years old, looks as bad or worse than
the original. All that drivng with the new one was mostly pavement
driving too. And pits and rock dings have accumulated to the point that
I must install a new one.
