The manual that I have shows an exploded view diagram of the piston &
cylinder assy, but it only shows one of them. The two small "ears" on one
side are facing the front of the engine, and the flat surface on the other
side faces the flywheel. (and the arrow on the piston top also faces the
flywheel) So I got that part right, then the cylinder next to it faces the
other way?
...And about my cam and lifters. I decided to have my camshaft reground
because it has visible wear and it's only going to cost about $50, but if I
buy all new lifters to go with my new cam, I'll have to spend around $120 on
top of that. The lifters were not very noisy before I tore the engine down,
so should I just have them resurfaced? Please help...
