A procedure for changing the ignition lock:
This came to me from Daniel Danrich.

All you need to remove is [in this order];
1. ignition key from switch;
2. horn button from steering wheel;
3. 17mm nut that holds down steering wheel;
4. steering wheel;
5. lower steering wheel collum cover [two screws];
6. three screws in top of collum that hold down and align turn
indicator switch assembly/high-low beam assembly and the windshield
wiper switch assembly;
7. disconnect the three different wire harness connectors from the
bottom of the ignition-starter switch and the above mentioned switch
assemblies;
8. upper steering wheel collum cover and switch assemblies;
9. 6mm hex bolt that holds ignition switch housing to collum;
10. place ignition key in switch and turn on to "run" position;
11. using small ballpeen hammer or 1/2" drive socket extention, tap on
bottom of housing till it comes all the way off;
12. turn housing over and using a Reed+Prince type Phillips screw
driver, remove screw that holds the ignition switch to ignition switch
housing;
13. assemble in reverse order;
NOTE:
A. pay attention to the plastic sleave bushing's orientation that came
of collum shaft when housing was removed;
B. pay particular attention to assemly of turn indicator switch together
with high-low beam switch as you place it on collum assembly;
C. good luck!
