blah blah blah
Why don't you guys get a room at the Motel 8 and just
make up?
I always thought part of the VW mindset was to be open
and understanding....
regardless of whether you agree or not.
If we can't even respect
each other's ideas and thoughts in a forum as beloved
as this list, how is
world peace even conceivable?
We might as well start nuking each other and spare the
planet another
century or two of our (the human race's) destructive
existance.
It's Fryda...go get some fried chicken, eat, and
appreciate the
fact that we are at least given an opportunity to
experience life at all--
with most of our limbs, a nose to find good food, some
eyes to enjoy colors
(and beautiful VW's), etc., etc., etc.
I myself enjoy my morning stretch immensely--a daily
check to make
sure everything is still connected and
working..because
I know one day
something will break (much like my Van). Till then,
breathe in and thank
whoever/whatever you want for the free oxygen.
'nuff said.

I personally would never, ever drill a hole in a
window and attach a
forward facing 3-4" PVC
elbow to said hole for ram-air a/c. Ian X

That is a piece of plexiglass if you read the
instructions you'd have
seen that. It was a very big $12.00 project . It also
rotates backwards
or any direction so the van doesn't fill up with
rainwater, just slide
the window back 1/2" and it drops right out so I can
use my mesquito
screen when camping. The worst thing about that ram
air thing is that I
have two of them and two bring in too much air. That
is why you only
see
one in the pictures. - I'm looking forward to seeing
you / someone come
up with anything inventive that doesn't come out of a
box or from a
parts
house. Stan

Hope your great aspirations of a rocket version of a
Vanagon come true.
If they do you'll earn both an OOH! and an AHH! from
me. That will be
worth 2 cents towards your major investment .........
well OK nothing,
but you got my 2 cents worth.
