Wow! Not that's what I call customer conscious service. As a verizon
customer myself, I have been somewhat disappointed in the past with various
aspects of highly touted and advertised "features". I mostly ignore the
underpaid, undertrained, undergunned, well-meaning folk at the end of the
world's most confusing call tree as they very rarely have any information of
substance to offer.
Phone works, billing is usually on track, VzServe rarely works correctly,
suggestions for improvement =>devnull.
But after some conversations with Larry who is "chasing" the perfect mobile
solution, I had pretty much given up on Verizon as a provider who listens,
generates product requirements based on customer needs and implements
functions and features to meet those requirements in an efficient, usable
and profitable manner.
lo, what light through yon window breaks...it is the dawn and Herb is the
harbinger ... of perfect data connectivity at a generous fee.
Now, out of the morass of other fine subjects, such as custom taillight
colors, laser blinking valve caps, 10"wide 16" wheels that won't fit, long
black shiny well-lubricated studs from the wilds of sanfran, we find an
offer of customer concern from Verizon.
I love this list. Hey Skerbitz, you listnin'?
Herb, to whom would I address papermail regarding potential kai-zen style
improvements and enhancements in various aspects of Verizon's business?
And of course what is on the near event horizon regarding north american
mobility offerings for integrated data and phone on CDMA amps/namps 800mhz
and similar on packet oriented stuff on the same 800mhz digital. If you
need beta testers, I have extensive professional experience in system,
software, and component validation and verification.
