There is only one plug that properly drains this manual transmission and
its under the ring and pinion.
The fluid I got out of this tranny after it sat in my storage room for
five years was about like 10 wt motor oil, it would barley cling to your
finger enough to make a drop.
I never could get the drain plug out and I know they didn't get out
either.
I've got a lot of Automotive War stories since I started driving in 1956
but I wanted to relay this one story because these trannys are getting
harder to find and more expensive.
