Well..Ummm I got my first shots when Eisenhower was pres....makes me 43 (?)
When I was a wee lad, dad owned a 59 (?) single cab with which he drove to
work, hauled the building materials for the house and the band equipment on
Saturday night..the starter went bad and he had me crawl in next to the
engine to hold the upper bolt..( a mental picture me doing that combined with
my current 6'3" 250lb frame is just too silly for words..it was a LONG time
ago..Sis and I used to BOTH ride in the WAY back of a bug...)
I got back there and "Whoa! Hey there is a FAN back here!..I'll bet NOBODY
knows that there is a FAN back here!"..I was hooked..
I kinda gave a thumbnail of the technical end of it a while back <ahem>
I've owned so many VW's that the server would crash if I tried to list them.
From a 1952 Panel Van to a 1991 vanagon
Currently an 88 7 passenger (1.9 liter and locking diff) a 1989 westy
(bought but not home yet) an 87 wolfsburg that a buddy just gave me and I
JUST signed over the title on the 86 westy syncro here in Salt Lake and am
looking to figure out how to get home to NC....
steve....
PS..I'm allowed to RIDE in my wife's 2001 Jetta....sometimes..
