Hey Ben... celebrity... yeah, right. thanks for letting me know about
that... I missed it... again. Actually, we will be on again on another
Travel Channel show called "The Best Place to Watch a Volcano" sometime next
spring... probably March of next year. We will let you know (just in case
you care). We worked with them out here shooting portions of the program
and they even shot my wife and I getting married near the ocean entry of
Kilauea Volcano last July. It was good fun.
btw, I've put the word out to several listees about my tire/wheel situation.
I'm open to advice here... the tread on one or more of my mtx tires is
beginning to separate and daddeo is starting to do the hula as we motor down
the road. I'm looking to put on some michelin ltx's or bfg at ko's, but
want to upgrade to a 15 inch rim. am looking for some nice looking,
reasonably priced alloys (prefer satin finish to chrome) that will withstand
a fair amount of moderate offroading... nothing heavy duty... have to ship
to hawaii, so need to keep the cost reasonable. will then be selling my 14
inch oem alloys which are in excellent condition. would consider trade for
the right wheels. would prefer five to four. situation is pretty
critical... she's really shaking badly... I'm not comfortable driving the
bus except for short trips now, so I gotta do something quick.
any suggestions, offers, etc. anybody wanting to hand carry a set of alloys
to hilo, hawaii will receive two nights lodging at my home!
