I've got a Tiico engine sitting in a crate here in California. This lack
of a difinitve answer prompted me to call Peter at Tiico.
Peter says that he is actively pursuing getting an "exectutive order"
from the ARB, as well as working through the BAR process.
He feels confident that the issue will be resolved by the end of the
year. He stated that he is in this "for the long haul" and is determined
to resolve the California issue.
Even so, some California conversions are getting certified under the
current system.
Peter did verify the "gross polluter" story described below.
I left the conversation satisfied that I'll soon be incompliance and
able to pass smog here in California.
