<DIV></DIV>>These old GMC's were made from 1973-79 and are IMO the
<DIV></DIV>>best motorhome ever designed.
<DIV></DIV>>Front wheel drive 455 Olds-talk about BULLET PROOF!

<DIV></DIV>>Great family-like fan support like the vanagon
<DIV></DIV>>although they only made around 10,000 and alot are
<DIV></DIV>>still on the road due to the paramount design.

<DIV>As some of you probably remember I was the sales manager for Golby Motor Corp. They own the molds that GM used to build the GMC Motor Coach. Parts are still manufactured todaay by Globy.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It is a well built coach. Basicly from the waistband up the coach is alum., from the waistband down it is fiberglass (same fiberglass as the corvette). Aircraft type construction was used in the design of the coach.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The only draw back to the unit was traction. On wet pavement it can be a bear. On anything but hard pavement you have a big problem. Never get near sand (unless you like tow trucks).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Restoration of these coach's is a big business, and the last frame up restoration I was involved with at Golby sold for $125,000.00. Many partial restorations can be had for around 40/50 K</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Owner's are fiercly loyal to the coach. </DIV>
