I don't care about Subarus.
Please, buy a Subaru.
Marry a Subaru.
There are things better than a damn Subaru.
Subarus and their transmissions break, too.
You are comparing a 1960's 2.7 Porsche motor (Redline over 7000 RPM, thank
you) with a one-in-a-million 1990's Subaru SVX motor. The Porsche motor has
no turbos, no variable intakes, no catalytic converters, no knock sensors,
no water cooling, just plain damn good engineering meant to do one thing:
win. It's an ideal upgrade for the air-cooled Vanagon.
If you wish, we can even up the ante. Why don't I compare a 3.2 L Porsche
racing motor with your puny Subaru WRX whistle-blower. (Arnold voice)
Porsche pumps you up, Subaru sucks eggs!
All Subaru fans, the line is forming to the right. The cliff ledge is
waiting.
Oh, and please don't make me quote my Porsche books.
